We've got 10 days to go in the campaign, and it has been a whirlwind so far. I was talking to the team over the weekend and Doug told us he'd had multiple people reach out to him asking for digital wallpapers (for smartphones, tablets, and monitors). So our amazing designer, Sasha E. Head, is working on a set that we will give you all this week. More on that in the next update, but I know they'll look great!

Also, we've had a few people ask for a better look at all the covers, so I'm including those here. If you want to change your order after checking these out, please note that you can manage your pledge at any time until the campaign ends.

Finally, please keep helping us out on the socials with likes and shares-- we're in the slower stage of the campaign, and really need your help to unlock more stretch goals.

The 1st Stretch Goal Unlocked! THOMAS RIVER #1 is offically 48-pages.

It feels great to hit this first Stretch Goal and unlock 8 more pages of THOMAS RIVER goodness for everyone! We're also excited to share a piece of our history with all of you, now that the digital reward of THE RIDE #1, Doug and Brian's first creative work together, has been unlocked.

Now on to the campaign-- we made a few tweaks to the rewards and added a couple of new ones based on your feedback. Regarding the Limited Edition Lithograph, it now comes with a physical copy of the comic at the same $100 price point (you pick your cover of choice during the final checkout). It was an oversight not to include that initially, but backers who already purchased the lithograph can click the 'Manage Your Pledge' tab to switch to the new tier. If you want to upgrade from a comic to a comic and lithograph, you can also mange your pledge to make that happen.

We've also added tiers where the lithograph can be purchased with either the 5 Cover Set or the 5 Cover Set + Inked Head Sketch.

Finally, we've had backers of the 'Pick 2' reward ask for an option to choose both a variant cover and Brian's Cover A. That has been corrected as well, so if you've already pledged that reward you'll be able to select Cover A when you fill out your survey after the campaign has closed  (the reward language has been changed as well). Updated reward slides are included here for clarity.

Now that the business is out of the way, how are you enjoying the 'Daily River' Comic Strips? If you've missed them they are all posted on our Kickstarter story page, and you can also find them on the @12GaugeComics Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook pages. I'd go ahead and post the latest strip here, but it's a pretty big spoiler if you haven't been reading, so I will just let you check it out on your own.

Brian, Doug, and I are all huge football fans, so we wanted to take a moment away from THOMAS RIVER to tell you about a book we’re all very excited about and you should be too— THE TRAP, a graphic novel from Seven-time Pro Bowl linebacker (and former Chicago Bear) Lance Briggs, MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGERS and ULTRAMAN writer Kyle Higgins, artist Danilo Beyruth, and colorist Tamra Bonvillain.

It’s a sci-fi story about sports, race, and economic inequality— the story of Jaylen Robinson, a rising sports star from a not-so-great part of the galaxy: Earth. He’s worked hard his whole life. New Stretch goals announced, plus other cool news!

It's been a busy Monday! Lots of things to cover, so I'll jump right in:

We got a nice write-up in the Baltimore Sun today, as they were excited to cover their very own comic book hero, Thomas River! We are super-close to hitting our 1st Stretch Goal, and have added a new extra, which is a digital copy of THE RIDE #1 (Doug and Brian's first comic book collaboration).
