We are very excited to finally show off Brian's variant cover, which was just unveiled at Bleeding_Cool --
Alright folks, time to start having a little fun with the Stretch Goals. Right out of the gate we're going to give you all something that I think is very cool, and that's 8 extra pages of content in all the books (both physical copies and the digital PDFs)!
Brian wants to include some of his 'behind the scenes' work, and maybe even some script pages and layouts, just to show you how he and Doug get the magic started. They are compiling content now, but rest-assured, you're going to get 48-pages of Stelfreeze & Wagner goodness.

As we are just getting started on our Kickstarter journey, we wanted to salute our friends who are wrapping up their own: Scott Snyder and Tony S. Daniel, and their fabulous creation, NOCTERRA. Scott, Tony, and Brian have all spent a lot of time in the Batcave, and it's fun to see everyone venturing out at the same time...so much so that Brian wanted to do this team-up piece with Valentina “Val” Riggs and our own Thomas River:
If you're unfamiliar with Nocterra, this is the final day to back this project, and you absolutely should. This new comic comes from the writer who escorted Batman (and many, many other characters) into the 21st century with pathos and intelligence and an artist who redefines cinematic. We're also epic fans of the pair's previous creator-owned work, including Wytches and The Tenth. The plot revolves around a world plagued in perpetual darkness that transforms every being into a vicious monster. One woman transports survivors throughout the eternal night to fabled sanctuaries. And we are so into this. Also: this art.
We'll have more to announce for Thomas River, but we'd be remiss in not sharing our enthusiasm for Nocterra. Check it out at the link below!

Hello backers! My name is Keven Gardner and I run 12-Gauge Comics. During this campaign I'll be doing most of the updates and answering of questions, and look forward to getting to know you all.
But most importantly I need to say "THANK YOU" to all our backers. On behalf of the entire team, we are all blown away by the support. I was actually on the phone with Brian this morning when the ticker went over $20k, and he said he just never expected this kind of reaction to the book. It's a wonderful feeling, for sure. From all of us-- Doug, Brian, Michelle, and Ed (plus Sasha, who's been killing the design work, and Sean running the press portion of the campaign) we are all just thrilled. Waking up the morning after an exhausting day to the news that you are about to hit an important milestone (way faster than expected) is quite the boost!
As this is our first campaign, we are all still feeling our way around, so please hang with us while we get our legs firmly on the ground (actually, pretty sure we're all still floating!).
I know one thing many of you are wondering about are the stretch goals. Yes, we have a few planned, and others we are discussing, but feel free to share ideas if there's something cool you'd like to put on our radar (especially rewards from other campaigns you liked).
